About the Burchfields

Pastors Tommy and Rachel Burchfield have dedicated over twenty-five years to building the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Their home and ministry headquarters is Country Camp in Columbus, Texas where gathering churches, loving pastors and networking leaders have earned them international respect. Their children, Andrew (24 years), Peter (21 years), and Abby (19 years) are also involved in ministry.

BELIEVERS WORLD OUTREACH CHURCH is a family church with a heart for the world. Beginning in May ’06, this thriving local body of believers in the Katy-Houston area is church home to hundreds. Signs and wonders confirm the preached Word at every service.

DISCOVERY CAMP began in 1989 as an age appropriate summer camp program for both children and teenagers. It has become the largest full-gospel camp in America reaching over 20,000 each summer.

COUNTRY CAMP is a 1,088-acre Christian retreat center and ministry headquarters located in Columbus, Texas. The campus includes housing for 1100 campers, full recreational facilities and summer resident quarters for over 100 employees and ministry families.

TEXAS BIBLE INSTITUTE is a nine month Bible school committed to establishing Biblical foundations in the lives of young adults ages 17-25. Since 1991, alumni have been discipled and now serve in Christian leadership throughout America and globally.
